Rearcross 'B' claimed maximum points against an under strength Sallypark 'B' in Rearcross last Sunday afternoon, Nigel Ryan put Rearcross ahead in the fifth minute when a strike from the penalty spot, Thomas Kennedy struck in the 10th minute with a well worked goal, Nigel Ryan added to the score line in the 20th minute with a nicely taken score, Eamon Devitt then added a brace in quick succession before Paul Murphy shot to the net late in the half to leave Rearcross well in control at the halfway stage. Sallypark kept battling, however it was the home side that edged further ahead with twenty three minutes remaining when Nigel Ryan was on target, Thomas Kennedy grabbed a second minutes later with a left legged effort, Nigel Ryan was on hand to knock to the net with ten minutes remaining before Adrian Ryan got his name on the score sheet in the dying minutes.
