Rearcross 'A' 4 - Toomevara 1
Rearcross 'A' kicked off their league campaign against Toomevara in Rearcross last Sunday morning and picked up maximum points with a spirited 4-1 victory, Rearcross made a promising start and went ahead on the fifteen minute mark with a Declan O'Toole goal, Rearcross were enjoying the better of the exchanges and Derek O'Toole got in on the action midway through the half with a well executed goal. The visitors rallied towards the end of the half and pulled a goal back when Marty Ryan was on the mark. Rearcross got back on top at the start of the second half and Declan O'Toole restored the Rearcross advantage with a superb effort. Derek O'Toole copper fastened the win for the home side late in the game.
