Rearcross 'B' finished with nine players in this league encounter against Clodiagh Rangers 'B' before losing on a final score line of two goals to one at the Drombane venue last Sunday. Rearcross were reduced to ten men with just twelve minutes gone which left the green & whites with an uphill battle, however Rearcross took the game to Clodiagh despite the numerical disadvantage and hit the front when Liam Ryan converted from the spot.Clodiagh got back level before the break when Michael Ryan scored with a fine effort from outside the box. A well contested second half saw the sides deadlocked on a one all score line heading in to the final ten minutes, however Rearcross were reduced to nine men which more or less handed the initiative to the home side. It was game, set and match when Joe Cullagh finished to the net from a Declan Carr knock down to secure all three points for Clodiagh Rangers.
