Rearcross 'A' 1 - Borrisokane 'A' 0
League leaders Borrisokane were the visitors to Bilboa for a league fixture with Rearcross on Sunday last. This was a big game for Rearcross as they wanted to make up for some poor results as of later and they got off to the ideal start when Davy O Toole got on the end of James Deegans corner on 3 minutes and finished to the back of the net past the Borriaokane net minder. Rearcross kept up the momentum for the rest of the first half and were well on top but failing to ad to their tally. Borrisokane reemerged in the second half a different side an really started to get into the game but found a stern test in getting past the Rearcross rearguard and Sean Sheehy in the Rearcross goal. Rearcross came close to doubling their advantage in the 70th minute when a Greg Kennedy shot from out on the wing went inches past the Borisokane woodwork. The game seemed to fizzle out a bit after this with neither side creating any clear cut chances and Rearcross were very happy to collect a valuable 3 points against the league leaders.
