Rearcross 'A' 1 - Arra Rovers 0
Arra rovers were the visitors to the Rearcross FC grounds on Friday night for a league fixture. The game itself was a very tight affair with Arra creating the best chance of the first half but the chance went abegging. The game sprang to life in the second half and Rearcross really started to control proceedings without creating any real gilt edge chances until the 75th minute. After good defending from an Arra corner the ball fell to the feet of Eamonn Devitt who sent the ball out to the wing for super sub Liam Ryan. Ryan controlled the ball excellently before releasing the forward running Kieran Devitt who did excellently before been taken down by the Arra defender in the box. Up stepped Mark Hogan who send the keeper the wrong way and earned Rearcross another valuable 3 points on their road to recovery this season.
