Rearcross U-12's overcame Nenagh Town 'B' in the U-12's Cup at the Brickfields venue last Saturday on a 4-1 score line, Rearcross made a good start but had to wait until the 17th minute for the opener when Marc Murphy struck from the edge of the box, Rearcross increased their advantage five minutes before half time when Niall O'Toole was quickest of the mark and tucked the ball past the Nenagh net minder. Rearcross continued on the attack in the second half and hit the target early on when Colm Nolan sent Shane Lenihan through who took full advantage with a clinical finish to the bottom corner, Nenagh counter attacked and pulled a goal back after slack marking by the visitors, however Rearcross finished on top and tacked on a fourth goal when Thomas Ryan converted after good work by Shane Lenihan.
