Rearcross U-12's made the journey to Puckane last Saturday for this league encounter and came away with maximum points against the home side, Rearcross started strongly but had to wait until the 16th minute for the opener when Donal Kennedy scored from in front of goal, Tommy Kennedy made it two nil four minutes later with a well taken goal, Donal Kennedy grabbed his second following a good run down the right flank, Tommy Kennedy added to the score fine four minutes before the half time whistle with a shot from edge of the box, Puckane also threatened in the opening half and would have scored but the strong performances from Brendan Shanahan and Sean Hickey. Rearcross tacked on two more goals in the second half with further strikes from Tommy Kennedy and Donal Kennedy, Puckane scored a consolation goal three minutes from the end on a day when their efforts deserved more.
