Rearcross U-14's were away to Birdhill last Wednesday evening and collected maximum league points with a 6-3 victory, both teams made lively starts with both sides swapping chances, however it was the visitors who got the breakthrough when Mark Hogan converted from the penalty spot, Birdhill made a quick recovery and were back in level terms within the minute with a well taken goal, Shane Lenihan restored the lead for Rearcross minutes later, Ger Grace then made if 3-1 for the Rearcross, Birdhill showed the greater urgency at the start of the second half and pegged back two goals early on to leave sides locked on three goals a piece. Rearcross were dominant for the remainder of the game and tacked on three more goals in the process with strikes from Ger Grace and a brace from Marc Murphy.
