Rearcross U-10's
completed a long league campaign last Monday evening at Rearcross FC Grounds with
a three nil victory against Nenagh AFC 'C' to copper fasten a runners up spot
in Division Two of the U-10 league, Rearcross were one nil ahead at half time
after Matthew Feehan had breached the Nenagh rearguard. Rearcross showed strongly
in the second half and went two nil in front when Ger Egan rifled to the net,
Gary O'Brien sealed the points with a fine effort at the near post with five minutes
remaining, Rearcross were also well served on the day by Darragh Ryan Luke who
had a fine outing between the posts. Credit to Joe Nolan and his selectors for
getting through a long season with just reward at the end and finally well done
to all panellists on this fine achievement in their debut league campaign.
