Rearcross U-10's 6 - Lough Derg Vikings 1
Rearcross U10's played host to an under strength Lough Derg Vikings last Saturday in the U-10 league and recorded a 6-1 victory, Rearcross made a flying start and Patrick Deegan opened his account inside the first minute with a goal from a tight angle, Adam Hurley then made it two nil with a finish from close range. Lough Derg narrowed the deficit when Ethen Boyle's scored with a fine effort from in front of goal. Mike Fee han restored the Rearcross advantage just before the break with a well taken goal, Rearcross dominated the exchanges in the second half and tacked on a hat trick of goals with Adam Hurley and Patrick Deegan getting on the score sheet again while Patrick Carey rounded off the scoring for the winners, Lough Derg goalkeeper Max Groudiere denied Patrick Deegan a hat trick with a fine save late in the game.
