Rearcross were the visitors to Newtown for this top of the table league clash last Saturday morning and were unlucky to lose out by the odd goal in three against Arra Rovers. The home side made the livilier start and were two goals to the good inside the opening twenty minutes with two well taken goals. Rearcross re-organised at half time and turned in a much better performance in the second half and pulled a goal back eleven minutes in after Brian Carey got on the end of a Darragh Kennedy delivery to boot to the net. Rearcross attacked in droves after this and deserved to take something from this game with Gary O'Brien and Brian Carey unlucky not to further add to the Rearcross tally, however Arra Rovers just about held on to secure the points.
