Rearcross played host to Nenagh AFC on Saturday morning for a game that was played on the all weather pitch. The game started off at a quick pace with end to end action. The first goal game came after 6 minutes when James Rochford scored from close range putting Rearcross ahead. The goals came quickly during the remainder of the first half with James Roachford adding a second while Dylan Ryan and Patrick Carey also getting on the scoresheet. Nenagh managed to get one back before the half time whistle reducing the deficit.Rearcross started the second half brightly and James Rochford secured his hat trick minutes after the break. Nenagh continued to battle hard and were rewarded with their second goal of the game mid way through the half. With 5 minutes remaing Pat O’Toole scored the final goal of the game securing the victory for Rearcross.
