Due to the continuing bad weather Rearcross played host to the visiting Ardcroney side on the All Weather playing pitch at the Rearcross venue last Saturday. The 9^th minute of the game saw Rearcross open the scoring when the ball rebounded from an Ardcroney defender to Adam Hurley who made no mistake finding the net. A deflection from an Ardcroney defender from an Adam Hurley effort found the net in the 18^th minute of the game giving Rearcross a two goal cushion at half time. Ardcroney reduced the deficit 5 minutes into the 2^nd half scoring from a long range effort. Rearcross responded well however to this minor setback when James Rocford scored 5 minutes later from close range. To their credit the Ardcroney side made a brave effort to get back into the game however a late goal scored by the visitors with 3 minutes remaining was all they could manage allowing Rearcross to take the honours on the day.
