Rearcross were back to winning ways last Saturday when they played host to the visiting Puckane side. Both sides started well but few chances were created due to determined defences at each end of the field. It was on the 15^th minute when the game saw its first goal following a great pass from Pat O’Toole to find Sam Wilkins who found the net with a fine strike. With seconds left in the first half Kevin Ryan scored for Puckane from the edge of the area leaving the sides level at half time. The second half saw Rearcross recover well from the setback of the Puckane goal and were determined to take the lead once more and within 6 minutes of the re-start Conor Nolan won possesion of the ball and proceeded to lob the Puckane goalkeeper from distance which found the net giving the advantage back

to the home side. Rearcross had a lot of work to do the maintain their advantage throughout the rest of the game as Puckane battled hard to level matters. However time ran out for the visitors and Rearcross were relieved to hear the final whistle.
