Rearcross u13s recorded a fine home victory over Nenagh B last Saturday afternoon. The home side got off to a great start and went 2-0 inside the first 10 minutes, with Patrick Carey on target on both occasions. Patrick Deegan continued his goal scoring streak with his 5th goal in 4 games with a well directed free kick midway through the opening half. Thomas Lyons got in on the action after the break when he was well positioned to finish off a flowing passing move. The visitors pulled one back shortly after this with a goal from a quick counter attack. However, Rearcross responded almost immediately with a fine goal from Gary O'Brien. Rearcross conceded a 2nd from the penalty spot with 10 minutes after a harsh enough call. But again their 4 goal advantage was restored as Patrick Carey rounded off his hat trick with 5 minutes remaining. The scoring wasn't complete at this stage as Nenagh converted a 2nd penalty moments later. Finally, Thomas Lyons grabbed his 2nd with an excellent finish from a tight angle with almost the last kick of the game.
