Rearcross U-10's 1 - Nenagh AFC 'B' 1

A strong Nenagh side travelled to Rearcross last Saturday morning intent on collecting maximum points to keep their league title ambitions alive.

Rearcross however were up for the challenge and both sides battled hard for early possesion. Midway through the second half Conor Nolan attempted a long range effort but the ball blazed just wide of the Nenagh goalmouth for the first clear cut chance of the game. With 3 minutes left to the half time whistle a penalty was awarded to the Nenagh side and Jack Daly made no mistake converting his chance from the spot.

The second half saw further battles for posesion in a evenly fought contest and it was in the 9th minute of the half when Adam Hurley went on a long indiviual solo run towards the Nenagh goalmouth to finish with a well taken goal to bring the sides level. The rest of the game saw few chances created and so the game ended with both sides sharing the spoils.
