Rearcross U-11's 9 - Nenagh AFC 'C' 3

Rearcross recorded a big win on Saturday morning when they played host to Nenagh AFC ‘C’ at the Rearcross Grounds. Despite the cold winds the conditions were good for football. The first goal for Rearcross came early in the game compliments of Adam Hurley after 4 minutes.  Rearcross added 2 more goals within 10 minutes of the opener when Aaron McMahon scored from close range and Adam Hurley netting his second of the game following good passing movement from the Rearcross midfield. Rearcross secured their 4th goal through a fine strike from Conor Nolan on the 23rd minute.  Nenagh continued in their efforts to break down the Rearcross defence and were finally rewarded a goal just before half time to reduce the deficit. The second half saw Rearcross beginning to dominate the game and the goals started to some with some ease. Adam Hurley had secured his hat trick within 3 minutes of the the start of the second half and was happy soon after to exchange positions with Pat Carroll in the Rearcross goalmouth. Pat Carroll made the most of his time attacking the Nenagh defence and went on to claim a hat trick of his own putting the result beyond doubht. Nenagh managed to score their second goal of the day with 4 minutes left in the game however Patrick Hayes rounded off the scroing spree for Rearcross in the final minute with a well taken strike from outside the area.
