Rearcross U-14's 0 - Birdhill 5
Rearcross u14s played host to Birdhill in a friendly last Wednesday evening and were soundly beaten by their Premier Division opposition on a 5-0 scoreline. While the game started off evenly enough, the hosts fell behind after 10 minutes when a speculative effort from distance somehow found the net. The home side seemed to have no luck as they conceded a fortuitous 2nd minutes later. A confident Birdhill were on top at this stage and grabbed a third before the break to leave them 3-0 up at half time. Rearcross fought a losing battle in the 2nd half and their effort deserved to give them something on the score board. However, nothing would go right for them on the night and Birdhill grabbd 2 more goals late on to add unneccessary gloss to the score board.
