Rearcross under 11's played host to Arra in this 6 goal thriller. Having being beaten 5-1 by the same opposition in the away fixture in November, Rearcross knew that a big improvment was required in this game. Arra playing with the wind in the first half applied the pressure in the first 10 minutes but were resisted on each occasion by a determined home defence. Rearcross began to dominate midfield at this stage of the game and were rewarded with a well taken goal by Sam Wilkins from close range. However 10 mins later, Arra were back on level terms, making of the prevailing wind. But Rearcross went ahead again 5 mins later when Sam Wilkins scored his second of the day. The opposition continued to press for an eqaliser before the half time break and scored when a shot on goal took a deflection - giving Pat Carroll in goal no chance. Both games played some lovely football in the second half and midway through, Arra regained the lead to make it 3 - 2. However Rearcross were not to be denied on the day and Arron McMahon scored the equaliser with 10 mins remaining. This was Rearcross's best game of the season against an Arra team, who are second in the league.
