Rearcross U-16's edged past Killavilla 'B' by the narrowest of margins on a 2-1 scoreline to take the points from this league encounter played in Rearcross last Saturday. Declan Hickey scored the opener for Rearcross in the 15th minute when he broke from the half way line and coolly finished to the net from inside the eighteen yard box. Rearcross were two nil ahead five minutes into the second half after good play from Colin O'Doherty. Killavilla pulled a goal back in the 60th minute after a defensive lapse, Rearcross had to pull out all the stops to hold on for the victory in the remaining minutes. Rearcross were well served on the day by Damien Ryan, Gerard Nolan & Derek Nolan.
