Rearcross U-16's entertained Clodiagh Rangers in a mid table clash played in Bilboa last Saturday and emerged victorious on a four goals to nil scoreline. Both sides had scoring opportunities in the opening half, with John Foley coming close for Rearcross midway through the half with a good shot from outside the box that brought the best out of the Clodiagh keeper. Rearcross started the second half in a determined fashion and went ahead when Sean Sheehy finished from inside the box five minutes in to the half. Enda Clifford doubled the lead minutes later when he struck a hard low shot to the corner of the net. John Foley grabbed a third for Rearcross midway through the half when he rounded the keeper and coolly slotted home. Liam Ryan made it four nil for Rearcross with five minutes remaining when he finished to the net after good work by John Foley.
