Rearcross U10's 3 - Toomevara 6
Rearcross U-10's were on the wrong end of a 6-3 scoreline against
Toomevara in a league game played in Rearcross last Saturday morning. The
visitors led 2-1 at half time with goals in the 7th and 12th minute, while
Cormac Nolan pulled a goal back for his side in the 18th minute when he got
on the end of a Kieran Devitt cross. The visitors dictated the pace at the
start of the second half and added two further goals. Tommy Kennedy reduced
the deficit midway through the half with a fine individual strike. Thomas
Ryan made it 5-3 in the 38th minute with a well taken goal. Toomevara copper
fastened the result jsut before the final whistle with a shot from close range.
