Rearcross U-10's 4 - Templemore 'B' 1
Rearcross U-10's kicked off their league campaign in flying
form with a 4-1 victory over Templemore 'B' in Rearcross last Saturday morning.
Exchanges were evenly shared in the first half, however Rearcross dictated
the pace in the second period and went ahead four minutes in to the half when
Marc Murphy scored a fine goal. Vicky Reynolds put Rearcross two nil up two
minutes later when she dribbled from midfield and shot to the back of the
net from the edge of the box. Tommy Kennedy got on the score sheet on 32 minutes
with a well struck goal. Marc Murphy completed the scoring two minutes before
the final whistle with a well taken free kick.
