Rearcross U-14's 1 - Cloughjordan 5
Rearcross U14's played host to Cloughjordan last Saturday in a league fixture played at Rearcross F.C. Grounds. The home side played most of the game on the back foot and conceded the first goal twenty minutes into the game when Thomas Williams was on target. James Gough came close for Rearcross soon after when he went one on one with the keeper, however the ball was cleared to safety. Rearcross conceded a second goal just on the stroke of half time when Michael Costello was the marksman. Rearcross were back in the game five minutes into the second half when James Gough scored from a free kick. Rearcross were unable to build on this goal and found themselves further behind ten minutes later with two successive goals from Thomas Williams to round of his hat trick. The visitors added a fifth with five minutes remaining when Jason Darcy was on the mark for his side. Best for Rearcross were James Gough, Damien Nolan and Wayne McMahon.
