Rearcross U-12's continued their winning ways with a slender one nil victory over Clodiagh Rangers in a very tight and entertaining encounter played in Rearcross last Saturday. The only goal of the game came midway through the first half when Cormac Nolan broke to shoot past the Clodiagh keeper, minutes later Wayne McMahon cleared off the line to keep the Rearcross lead intact, Jim Caplis came to the rescue for the home side just before half time with two successive saves. Clodiagh piled on the pressure in the second half with Jim Caplis again to the fore, Rearcross came closest midway through the half when Michael O'Gorman's well struck shot was inches over the bar.
