Rearcross U-12's recorded a well merited three nil league victory over Nenagh Town 'C' last Saturday morning in Rearcross, a dull first half saw few chances created with Rearcross coming closest midway through the half when Danny O'Brien's strike hit the side netting. The second half was more open with the Nenagh keeper coming to the rescue with a fine penalty save in the 10th minute, a minute later James Gough intercepted a clearance and finished to the back of the net after a great solo run. The home side were lucky to escape moments later when a Nenagh free kick hit the woodwork. James Gough edged Rearcross two nil ahead with ten minutes left on the clock with a superb finish from inside the area. Rearcross sealed the victory in the 27th minute when James Gough completed his hat-trick with a well placed penalty.
