Moneygall 1 - Rearcross U-10's 1
Reacross U-10's played an away league game against Moneygall
in Barna last Saturday morning and were unlucky not to take full points from
the encounter after conceding an equaliser in the dying moments of the game.
Both teams started brightly with Rearcross keeper Greg Kennedy having to be
alert to keep the Moneygall attack at bay. Rearcross were denied midway through
the half when Niall O'Toole's effort struck the crossbar. Both sides created
chances early in the second half, however Tommy Kennedy broke the deadlock
ten minutes into the half with a good finish to the bottom corner of the net.
Moneygall responded well and were unlucky when a well struck effort hit the
post five minutes later. Moneygall grabbed an equaliser with seconds remaining
when a free kick finished in the back of the net.
