Rearcross Youths turned in a sterling campaign finishing with a Second Division League runners up spot
and very much to the fore throughout the season was Brian Carey who produced consistent and workmanlike
performances for the Slieve Felim Club. Brian was part of the NTSFL Emerging Talent programme
and is also a talented hurler. Brian plays with guile and spirit reminiscent of his father John and uncles
PJ and James who all played for Rearcross FC. Brian is an excellent passer of the ball and plays with a
never give up attitude, well done and congratulations to Brian.
