Sallypark 'B' 1 - Rearcross 'B' 1
Rearcross 'B' trekked to the Sallypark venue for this Third Division league tie against the home side and had to settle for a share of the spoils on a one all score line. A tight opening half saw the sides locked on a nil all score line at the half time whistle. Both sides were more attack minded in the second half and Sallypark came close when Robbie Lawlor's penalty kick came off the post. Rearcross kept battling and hit the front midway through the half when Jame Deegan's free kick from the edge of the box went all the way to the net. Daniel Bergin levelled for Sallypark after latching on to a free kick to finish at the back post. Rearcross were denied the opportunity to take all three points with seconds remaining when Kieran Devitt was through on goal and appeared to be impeded by the Sallypark keeper, however play was waved on to leave a final score line of one goal a piece.
