Rearcross U-9's conclude Blitz campaign with fine displays

Rearcross U-9’s trekked to Drombane on Saturday for their last blitz of the season, hosted by Clodiagh Rangers FC. We played 4 ten-minute matches against Clodiagh Rangers, Knigh United and 2 Nenagh Celtic selections. On a beautiful sunny day, all the kids had a great outing putting in a fantastic effort with some great soccer played. Freddy Hartnett, Charlie Ryan, Fionn Guidera and Conor Richardson all took turns in goals making some fine saves. All Rearcross players turned in sterling displays from start to finish with Cian Lenihan, Robbie Maher and Oliver Hartnett shining in their defensive roles. The tackling of Ellie O’Gorman and Ethan O’Gorman was firm and determined. Eve Richardson and Jack Kennedy made great strides in midfield. Conor Richardson, Fionn Guidera, Freddy Hartnett and Charlie Ryan also got plenty of play time outfield on the day. All in all, a very enjoyable day for the kids and parents with all children receiving a medal each at the end of the day.
