Rearcross Ladies kick off their Winter League campaign

After dipping their toes into unknown waters last season, Rearcross FC Ladies continued to make strides by fielding a Team for the newly formed North Tipperary Women's 7 a side League last Friday Night. The game was played at a great pace from the very first minute with all of the Rearcross FC Ladies getting plenty of game time. In what was a highly entertaining affair Clodagh Rangers got the better of Rearcross on this occasion. The Rearcross FC Ladies can be proud of their efforts and are improving immensely each week. Great defensive displays from Siobhan Hogan and Michelle Quinn keep the Clodiagh Rangers attackers at bay on more than one occasion. Chloe O Brien and Mary Joe Deegan put in a huge effort in the midfield area and created some great chances for Rearcross FC. All of the Ladies who wore the Green of Rearcross really enjoyed the fixture. Thanks to Clodagh Rangers for travelling over and to Liam Nolan of the Congo Bar for providing food afterwards. A big thank you to all the supporters who were in attendance also.
