Great performance from Rearcross U-13 Girls earns away draw

Rearcross U13 girls were away to Holycross in the second round of the league last Sat October 4th. Rearcross started strongly and had a few early goal opportunities from Kate Kennedy and Orla Carr. Rearcross went ahead in the 15th minute with a well taken goal from Aoibheann Devitt. In a fast free flowing game Edel Cullagh equalised for Holycross in the 22th minute. Both teams had chances to score before Kate Kennedy sent the away team 2 1 up with a well taken from inside the box in the 40th minute. Rearcross had plenty of chances to finish Holycross off but with the final whistle approaching Roisin Ryan equalised for Holycross on the 58th minute to leave the final score 2-2.
