James Deegan
Rearcross ‘A’ Team Player of the Year 2021/2022

James Deegan is a well-established senior member of Rearcross ‘A’ after being a key player for the past 10 seasons or so and turned in a number of superb performances throughout the league winning 2021/2022 season. James was top scorer for the season in review netting a grand tally of 19 goals including a number of trademark long-range efforts which are part and parcel of James’s armoury. James’s pace on the front foot troubled multiple defenders across the NT&DL for the season in review and the Barnadomeeny player’s contribution played a huge part in clinching a coveted First Division League title for Rea. James is also an active Clubman off the field of play and a member of Rearcross FC committee, so an all-rounder in that respect. James had already received the ‘A’ team Player of the Year award for the 2018/2019 season, so many congrats to James on receiving a second Liam Sheehy Player of Year accolade in short succession which is a mammoth achievement, well done James and continued success in the Rearcross colours.
