Rearcross FC is delighted to welcome Dutch Club De Blokkers to the Slieve Felim Hills on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th September in what will be a great occasion for our Club. The Dutch Club field some 50 teams in their local leagues in the Netherlands, so the game on Saturday will be a major test for the Rea boys. Thanks to Rearcross FC player Gary O’Brien now living in Netherlands and who plays for DE BLOKKERS for organizing this unique pairing of the Irish and the Dutch in Rea. Thanks also to Liam Nolan(B) for organizing events at this end. Itinerary as follows:

Fri 6th Sept:
6:00PM: Visit to Sean Treacy’s GAA Club for historical talk including Hurling / Gaelic Football exhibition.
7:00PM: Finger food and Traditional Irish Music session in the Cross Bar

Sat 7th Sept:
2:00PM: Rearcross FC v De Blokkers at Rearcross FC Grounds
4:00PM: Post-match drinks in the Rising Sun
5:00PM: Ireland v England on the big screen and finger food in Kennedy’s of Rea
9:00PM: Post-match analysis of both games in the Congo Bar
