Sterling performances from Rearcross U-9's

Rearcross U-9’s trekked to Drombane for their opening U-9 Blitz of the season and played out entertaining encounters against Clodiagh Rangers, Lough Derg and Ballymackey selections. It was a debut outing for most of the players in the Rea jersey and a steely determination was shown, as all players worked hard up to the last minute of the blitz after playing 3 games back-to-back. Freddie Hartnett got the only goal of the outing with a lovely strike to the top corner. All players shone brightly on the day including Ethan O’Gorman and Freddie Hartnett still at U-7 level who togged to make up the numbers. Ellie O’Gorman, Eve Richardson, Mary Hanley and Cian Lenihan turned in sterling performances all through and didn’t stand back with firm tacking from start to finish. The signs are positive and this team will progress with more game time to grow their potential. Thanks to Clodiagh Rangers for hosting the blitz.
