Away loss for Rearcross Youths in Templemore

Rearcross Youths were on their travels to Templemore for this league fixture against BT Harps, but were on the wrong end of a 6-2 scoreline on this occasion. The Rea boys battled gallantly in the opening half, however Harps led 3-0 at the half time whistle after Finbarr Breathnach opening the scoring in the 9th minute before Ryan Loughnane tacked on two more to leave the hosts in control.
Rearcross upped the ante after the re-start and pegged a goal back when Patrick Ryan netted thanks to a Jack Nolan assist. The home side got on top after this as Ryan Loughnane netted another brace to bring his tally to 4 on the day. David Rabbitte made in 6-1 with a well taken goal to copper fasten the win. Rearcross didn’t throw in the towel as Conor Nolan bagged a late consolation goal to leave a final scoreline of 6-2
