Rearcross U-14 Girls lose out to a strong Cloughjordan side

Rearcross U14 girls travelled to Cloughjordan new grounds on Saturday morning last, Sept 27th, entering the fray unbeaten after 2 rounds of the new Champions league type format, where all teams regardless of grade are pitted against each other at this age group. Rearcross on this occasion came up against our strongest opponent yet, both physically and ability wise, and were on the wrong end of 7 -1 scoreline. Admirably from the Rearcross perspective, they held this fine Cloughjordan team to a goal in the second half and scoring one themselves, and this should give the girls plenty of encouragement with a large contingent underage at this level for next season and in some case 2 to 3.
