Defeat for Rearcross 'A' in Roscrea

Rearcross FC played their penultimate fixture away to Killavilla on Sunday. Rearcross FC travelled North knowing that they were safe from the drop into Division 1. Rearcross missing a half dozen household names were very much in the fixture despite the scoreline. Rearcross FC took the game to Killavilla at stages throughout. Killavilla went 1-0 up thanks to a penalty kick which was converted. Rearcross FC’s best efforts came from Patrick Dawson who came close from distance on a number of occasions. Rearcross FC worked the ball well at times with James Rochford, Eoin Sheldon and Kieran Devitt moving the ball well in the middle. Rearcross FC remained in the fixture up until the last quarter when two quick goals in the dying embers of the fixture gave Killavilla a flattering 3-0 victory. Killavilla needed to take home all three points to ensure their quest for league honours stays intact. Thanks to all those who travelled to Rearcross FCs final away fixture of the season.
