Rearcross U-10's on their travels to Ballycommon

Our u10's travelled to Ballycommon today to play Knigh United. With a combined team of girls and boys Rearcross took on a strong team of boys from Knigh Utd. From the start Knigh Utd lead the way with a number of goals throughout the first half. Aoibheann Devitt was very strong in defense, steadying the ship on a number of occasions for Rearcross. Knigh Utd ploughed ahead in the second half with some well executed scores, leaving Rearcross on the back foot from there on in. However, Ruth Johnson, Lauren Hartnett, Oisin Canavan & Conor Richardson were instrumental in midfield and attack. Two goals came mid ways through the second half, from well executed corner kicks by Conor Richardson. Unfortunately, that was the final contribution by Rearcross to the score sheet, with Knigh United claiming a well deserved win.
