Rearcross U-13 Girls bow out of Cup

Rearcross U-13 Girls faced an arduous task with an away Cup semi-final in Puckane against Knigh United. There was a huge difference in class as Knigh are a very strong team and haven’t lost a game in the NTSFL U-13 Premier Division all season and all their players are up to the age bar 1. The hosts were far stronger than Rea with 5 of their players on the NTSFL U-13 representative squad, however fair play to the Rearcross girls who never gave up all through and are improving game on game. Rearcross had 16 players togged for tonight’s game, 11 of which are underage for next season’s U-13 campaign, so the future augers well.
The Club is planning to have U-13 and U-14 Girls teams in the NTSFL next season and are looking to bolster both panels with new players in the months ahead. New players always welcome.
