Spoils shared in entertaining pre-season friendly

Rearcross FC welcomed Aisling Annacotty D team to town in a pre season friendly,  Rearcross FC fell foul to some slack defending in the opening minutes and conceded the opening goal when a corner was not dealt with. Rearcross battled back into the tie and James Deegan slotted home for the home side to make it 1-1.
Both sides had a few half chances in the second half but a winner was not to be on this occasion. Brian Hammersley was in the Rearcross goal for the second half. Brian made a handful of excellent saves, most notably from a long ranged effort which he pushed around the post at full stretch. Thanks to Aisling Annacotty for travelling out and to Ray Ryan for officiating the fixture.
