Clodiagh Rangers win out against Rearcross Ladies

Rearcross FC Ladies played host to Clodagh Rangers on a chilly Friday night. Each one of Rearcross Ladies got loads of minutes under their belts, with Laura Deegan covering every inch of the pitch. Michelle Quinn began in goals for the Congo Bar Sponsored side and made some impressive blocks in the early minutes. Rearcross fell behind to a strong Clodagh Rangers side and went into the break a handful of goals down. The Rea Ladies regrouped and began creating a few chances of their own in the second half. Shots from Mairead Donoghue and a quick fire double from Sarah Kennedy needed saving by the Clodagh Rangers net minder. Siobhan Corcoran worked well, intercepting a number of attacks. Clodagh Rangers ran out the victors, having converted a number of more goals. All in all, it was a great workout for the Rearcross FC Ladies who have 3 league games left in the Winter League.
