Rearcross U-14 Girls claim maximum points in league opener

Rearcross U14 Girls hosted Ardcroney U-14 girls in Rearcross on Saturday morning last with a 10am kick-off. This game was played in dry weather conditions with the Rearcross pitch in great condition after the all the rain the has fell recently. Rearcross dominated the first half, and made this count on the scoreboard, taking a half time lead of 3 goals to 1 with a hat trick from Zofia Kwiecinska, Ardcroney’s goal came from a ball that broke in the box from a corner and their centre forward finished to the net.
In the second half Rearcross made several changes giving all our Younger players game time( most of these ladies are eligible for U14 grade for 2 more years), Rearcross added two more goals through Zofia Kwiecinska and Isabelle Keogh which was matched by Ardcroney with Rearcross running out 5-3 winners on the day. Great team effort from Rearcross, with all our panel contributing on the day and starting their league campaign with a valuable win
