Limerick County 5- 2 NTSFL U-15’s

North Tipp under 15’s travelled to Knockainey to take on a strong Limerick County in their first inter league game of the season. North Tipp played against a very strong wind in the first half and soaked up pressure comfortable. With 10 minutes to half time Limerick were awarded a penalty for a foul that appeared to be outside the area and went 1 up. North Tipp responded really well and deservedly equalised just before half time through Ben Leamy following great work from Conor Ryan and Simon Cleary, 1-1 at half time. At the start of the second half the game began to get stretched and Limerick showed their quality with two very well taken goals. After some changes North Tipp responded again through Ben Leamy to make it 3-2. With 10 minutes to go North Tipp went chasing the game and Limerick broke for 2 late goals but a really good performance from the whole squad today. Best for North Tipp on the day was Daniel Cummins, Ben Leamy and Alex, but MOTM goes to Oisin Reynolds.
